Your comfort is our concern. Our goal is to help every guest have a wonderful stay at Robins Nest Cottages. Policies are for the comfort, peace and safety of all guests, and to keep Robins Nest Cottages and grounds in good clean condition. Because guests have observed the policies, we have been able to keep our rates reasonable.

Guests in cottages have a full kitchen, deck, picnic table and chairs, grill, group fire-pit and a chemical free lawn. Parking for one vehicle, per cottage, is near your cottage. Additional vehicles, trailers and boat parking is on the street or a few minutes away in nearby in the new Fish Creek Park parking lot.

Staying for seven nights? Receive the equivalent of one weekday night free! Cottages have a 3 night minimum.

• Rates include 4 people in each cottage. Each additional person, of any age, is only $10 per night when included in the booking or added before arrival. If additional guests or pets (in pet friendly cottages) come, beyond the number on your invoice, your invoice will be adjusted upon arrival at $20 per person per night.
• The reservation is accepted when we record valid credit card information and, unless there was a booking or website error, is confirmed when the payment clears. Please carefully check the invoice you receive and contact us if you have questions or if there is an error. Rates may increase, but not after the reservation has been confirmed. Only one special or package applies during a single stay.
• If a policy was not followed or there is a website error, we will do everything possible to accommodate your reservation and, very rarely, the reservation may be canceled.
• Room rates, if there is a website error in the room rate, the guest may opt to pay the correct amount or cancel the reservation without penalty. We may need to change the unit to a comparable or upgraded cottage to allow for a longer stay or if there is a concern that needs to be fixed.
• A fee may be accessed for policy non-compliance and the reservation may be canceled with no refund for violations that disturb other guests or cause damage and excessive cleaning.

This means that there is no daily maid service because housekeeping is the renter’s responsibility. We do all the deep cleaning and sanitation after you leave. Linens are provided. Bring your own towels, paper products and soaps.

We require a $300 damage deposit. This fee will be refunded when the cottage is left clean and nothing is damaged or missing. Inventory is taken after check out when the housekeepers deep clean the units.

At this time time we have no way to charge a credit card at the Robins Nest. A check for the full amount due must be received 3 days after booking to confirm the reservation when the check clears. Cash is accepted on a same day walk in reservation.

There is a 5.5% Room Tax plus a 5.5% State Sales tax in Door County that will be added to your reservation total.

The season in Door County is very short and a reservation is a guarantee that we will rent to you and that you will be financially responsible for the days confirmed. You pay for the rental guarantee, not for the cottage. Reservations are to be paid in full before arrival. A no show will be held until 8:00 am the day after your scheduled arrival.
To receive a refund, minus a 10% cancellation fee, a WRITTEN NOTICE of cancellation must be received a mininum of 30 days prior to your arrival date.
When a reservation is canceled with less than 30 days, the person who reserved the cottage will be financially responsible for the period of time that the unit is not re-rented at the same rate. When a cancelled reservation is re-rented: the payment, less a fee of 10% of the reservation, will be refunded.


Would you like to bring your furry family member?
1 or 2 friendly, quiet dogs are allowed in the StarlingCaridinal, and Sparrow cottages. No pets are allowed in the Blue Jay, Oriole, Robin or Wren. Each pet is only $15 per night. Fish Creek Park is across the street from Robins Nest and Peninsula State Park is around the corner. Both are wonderful for walking with miles of trails.

Be thoughtful, please pickup after your pet. Keep the Creek and lawn clean. We have supplied an outside garbage can and request that you pick up after your dog. Do you scoop the poop? or bend and pretend? READ 6 reasons you should always pick up after your dog

Pets should never be left alone in the room or on the property. We will help you locate a pet sitter when needed. If unruley behavior or barking disturbs other guests, you may be required to leave with no refund and if another guest leaves due to a pet’s excessive noise, the pet owner will also be responsible for the balance of that guest’s reservation. You will be responsible for excessive cleaning and all damages.
